There was so much awesome happening this year at artist alley, saw so many cool people, bought some cool stuff, and made some money. were all there pretty much right across from me in the alley, got to meet and chat with them. They're super nice and filled with awesome (thankyou for the keychain and bookmark! I love them! I hope you liked the cookies 8D), so you should make an effort to go see them if you can (and buy their cool stuffs *shameless plug*). Had a table next to and who are also super awesome and you should go read their comics if you haven't. I practically sold out of all my stuff (plush pillows, headbands, and calico puffs) by the afternoon of the second day, so for the last day I was basically table sitting the entire time for someone else. Next year I have to remember to make more stuff so I don't sell out so quickly.

Went to the guest meet and greet dinner too, so I got to see people I haven't seen for a whole year, and they were cool as always. There was cake for Cathy Weseluck's birthday (even though it was actually a week before AE), awesome tiramisu cake, omnomnom delish.

There were a lot of really cool cosplayers this year, including a banana, lol. I took so many photos, good practice with my new camera at least

Anyway, tl;dr version is: AE was fun, saw people, ate cookies, bought stuff, am dead tired kthxbai.

So I finally caved in and bought a camera, not a super fancy SLR like I want to eventually blow all my money on, but it's a nice little camera still.

I have also learned one this I really hate about the new digital age of cameras. I do NOT like autofocus. AT ALL.

Thankfully my new camera has a manual focus setting, now I just have to get used to using the camera itself. First digital camera... so many new things to learn. I miss my 30 year old canon already (still have it thankfully)... > >;;

It does, however, cost a lot less to take photos (cause I don't have to get them developed), and it's way easier to upload them to my computer without loss of quality. Huzzah! Now I can let my trigger-happy finger take as many photos as I like without breakin' the bank. 8D

Now I need to get off my arse and actually do some drawing too.

Well I'll be damned, I finally got off my lazy ass and put up some deviations. El oh el.

Isn't it nice when things finally fall into place? When you finally figure out something that's been bothering you for years?

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me, and it feels good.

...and all the king's men couldn't do shit.
